Trunk Club offers a clothing service where a team of specialists take your exact measurements and create custom pieces like shirts, suits, tuxedos, coats, and my favorite…swackets (sweater + jacket).

A nice break

Even though the custom department is a division of Trunk Club, it kind of has its own brand identity and voice, which makes for a refreshing departure from the master Trunk Club brand every so often.

The strategy

The welcome program is important since it’s when many of our customers first learn that we offer this service. In order to best explain the service, we broke the series into five parts.

Welcome to Custom

The introduction

Since the Custom department takes a backseat to Trunk Club’s ready-to-wear business, we knew that many customers probably didn’t even know this additional service existed. The email marketing team decided to educate customers via a five part series that touched on the many benefits of buying custom clothing from Trunk Club. My role was to bring each phase of that series to life to create a cohesive welcome experience that stood out from our other email communications.
